ADA and Small Bankruptcy Firms

Presented by Asim Dietrich and Scott L. Greeves

At some time in their career, many attorneys are likely to encounter clients with diminished decision-making capacity due to a disability. Clients with diminished capacity often have unique needs and require accommodations within the attorney-client relationship. This program will provide attorneys information about the ethical rules related to representing clients with diminished capacity, and provide attorneys with strategies to address ethical concerns when representing such clients. This program will also provide attorneys with information regarding requirements under the Americans with Disabilities Act to ensure the accessibility of legal services for individuals with physical disabilities. Additionally, this program will provide tips and strategies for attorneys to ensure that their services are accessible for individuals with physical disabilities.
