This seminar will discuss what to do with a business that has failed or is failing. This seminar will discuss what to do with a business that has failed or is failing. Does it need to dissolve? Terminate? File bankruptcy? Do the business owners need to file bankruptcy personally? What are the timing concerns for filing a personal bankruptcy for the business owners and a business dissolution? This seminar will discuss the practicalities of dealing with Debtors that have businesses that have failed or are failing and the most common type of debts that they have.

Lisa C. Thompson has been practicing business law for almost 30 years. She is certified to practice law in Arizona, California, Nevada, and Washington, D.C. Lisa also is the author of Arizona Legal Forms – Debtor-Creditor (Second Edition) and Arizona Legal Forms – Limited Liability Companies and Partnerships (Third Edition). She is also the co-author of the Arizona Business Law Deskbook series (Volumes 9, 9A, 10 and 10A).
